The Role:
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a key role in sourcing and procuring materials and services for innovative print and retail display projects. You’ll work closely with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards. While technical expertise in print is not essential, a strong background in procurement and buying is critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier relationships to secure the best pricing, terms, and quality.
- Negotiate costings and timelines to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project needs and specifications.
- Source and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets and profitability goals.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activity using designated company tools.
- Support project teams to ensure seamless delivery from start to finish.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in procurement or buying, ideally within a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
