We had a great time at SymfonyLive London 2013
This was our first time as a sponsor and we will definitely be coming back in 2014.
So, what went down? The first day was made up of hands on workshops led by Symfony experts. There were two to choose from including Introduction to Symfony2 and Going Further with Symfony2.
Introduction to Symfony2 was for developers with less experience of Symfony2. It gave an excellent introduction to the framework with instruction on installation and configuration, information for the twig template engine and debugging tools as well as best practice tips.
Going further with Symfony2 was a workshop aimed at more experienced Symfony2 Developers and gave insight into the more advanced features – writing cacheable content for an HTTP cache, authorisation rules, mastering the dependency injection container configuration and form based authentication.
Following on from an intense and fascinating day of workshops, attendees were treated with Friday’s conference which included an opening keynote address, insightful speakers discussing topics like BDD and Drupal and closing remarks before the social stuff kicked off.
After an incredible two days, everyone was welcome at the The Barrowboy and Banker (a brilliant local pub) and it was a great way to end what was another fantastic SymfonyLive London. Roll on next year!
